Macarena Hernández is a journalist and educator. She’s covers U.S. Latino issues such as immigration and education, and her work has been published in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Latina, and many other publications throughout the United States. She is now the Fred Hartman Distinguished Professor of Journalism at Baylor University.
